Button equalled the UKís record of 15 puppies in one litter just over a year ago and now she has knocked spots off that with another amazing 18. ìItís absolutely amazing. She had a big litter 14 months ago and we never expected it to happen again, î said owner Nicola Morley, 31. ìWe thought she would have a standard size litter of eight or nine but we had a scan at the vets the day before and they said there were too many to count. ìWe were shocked when 18 were born and they were all alive and healthy. Each pup weighed about one kilogramme when they were born by casearean section at the vets and are all doing very well. |
